Keeping safely connected!

** On-site Chromebooks and computers are only to be used for
Rising TIDE related activities.**

  • Each staff member who will be connecting with young people virtually, has been given a Google Meet code to use for clubs meeting on Google Meet.

  • If your responsibilities include being on-line with young people, pick up your Chromebook from the Fellowship Hall when you arrive. Use an electronic cleaner to sanitize it before using. (You may use your own device if you prefer.)

  • Computers are available for use in the Center, Computer Room and the Purple Room. A computer can not be used if a “quarantine mask” sign has been displayed on the computer screen.

  • Engage fully with those on-line if you are assigned to a particular class and do not do other tasks while teaching virtually.

  • If you are hosting classes, do not get so distracted by doing other little tasks that you lose sight of what is occurring. You must be alert to any issues that arise and take corrective measures and/or inform the ED or her designee.

  • The hosting station is to record all sessions, unless it has been requested by the ED not to record, e.g. during youth groups due to sharing.

  • You may have your phone with you while working, but you are not to use your phone for any personal business, texting, calls, posts or searching for personal reasons.

  • At the end of your time using the Chromebook, be sure to return it to the Fellowship Hall where you will need to disinfect it once again before returning.

  • If you used a computer, be sure to sanitize it with an electronic wipe at the end of your shift.

    Please note:
All Google Meet sessions are to be recorded. Be sure to end recording at the end of your session
